All-Star Game
Just about every major sport has an all star-game. For example the NFL has the Pro
Bowl and the NBA has the all-star weekend, well the MLB has the famous all-star game.
If you are wondering what the all-star game is, well it is a collection of all the players that
have been voted in by the fans around the world to all play in a game that is made up of
the two leagues the American and National league. The MLB's all-star game is actually
unique compared to the other major sports as this determines home field advantage in the
World Series.
The first all-star game for baseball was held in 1933 at Comiskey Park, Chicago the home
of the Chicago White Sox. Since then there has been 74 all-star games, one every year
with the execption of 1945 were there was no game held.

As stated before the players that participate in the all-star game are voted in by the
fans every year. However the managers are the managers of the respected team that played
in the world series the past year. Than the coaches are than chosen by the managers to
complete the coaching staff.
